Information Guide for Your Art Appraisal
For a comprehensive appraisal of your artwork or collectibles, we've outlined a helpful guide below detailing the types of information that can enhance the accuracy of our assessment. While not all details may be available or applicable to your item, providing as much information as you can will greatly assist our experts in delivering a precise valuation. Remember, each piece of information contributes to a better understanding of your artwork's value. If you're unsure about what to include or need help gathering any details, please feel free to contact us for assistance. The more information the appraisers have, the easier it is to assign an accurate value to artworks.

Detailed documentation is especially important when property is evaluated through digital images, as opposed to in-person inspections where the physical presence of the property often serves as sufficient proof of purchase and ownership.

While some artworks will require an in-person inspection, the specialists at Matthew Clayton Brown can produce reliable valuations based on comprehensive information, documentation, and high quality photographs provided by the client.
